SUMMARY:Supporting Reconciliation Through Art
DESCRIPTION:Reconciliation Through Art coincides with the Nation Day for Truth and Reconciliation and will feature art\, storytelling\, and performances from local and Indigenous artists.  Food will be available from the Frybread Queen. \nThis event is scheduled for September 30\, 2024\, at the Mississippi Valley Textile Museum at 3 Rosamond St. E.\, in Almonte. \n \nThe day starts with a River Walk and Offering to the Water led by Tony Belcourt at 8:00 am. \nExhibits and education events take place throughout the day from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm. \nThe full programme is available here. \nMany of our MMAMR members are busy assisting with this event.  It’s sure to be a great success! \nWould you like to be involved as a volunteer?  If so\, please send an email to pam@aeriscycles.ca.
